A Real Blog that's not about food!

So I'm realizing, that when my schedule gets crazy, I basically just post about food, as in, "I've got 85 million things going on, but one of those things was making this food, so here's the recipe"

So, no food today, I don't think at least. :)

I'm blogging right now while waiting for the little kid's mom to get home, which means no pictures because I'm on her computer. We only have one laptop and I don't bring it with me to watch a small child who likes to through himself at anything that's possibly distracting you from 110% paying attention.

I needed to bring the laptop though cause I need to finish loading the pictures from our last wedding into the proofing software and get the bride's proof order into the lab. I'm off til 10:00am tomorrow, guess what those couple of hours will be spent doing? I really need to finish them because next weekend we're shooting another wedding and I hate to have to work on two at a time. I rather enjoy having a slower business that's basically word of mouth because it allows me to devote a ton of time and attention to each wedding. I spend an hour or two every couple of days for the last 3 weeks editing the pictures from this last wedding, so I'd like to get it finished before the next one.

Since that wedding, we've shot two sets of family portraits, and a senior portraits, and are shooting more family portraits this weekend.

Driving around today I spotted another spot that I'd really like to use for pictures, but I don't know that I can. There's this really pretty stonewall bordering a cemetery right in town. Would it be insanely disrespectful to do a photoshoot on the edge of a cemetery?

I finally got Sarah's coasters from my giveaway back from the lab. They're heading your way in the morning Sarah! They turned out really well. I'm actually thinking of making sets of coasters, with different pictures for each set of parents for Christmas this year, maybe even for my grandparents? My grandma loves anything with pictures of her grandchildren on them, so maybe?

I'm rambling, so bored, so drugged up on sinus medicine. I've had the gunk in my throat and a sinus headache for 3 days now, I'm going nuts, but I can't stop working because of it, so I'm dealing, I'm just a little ADD when I'm on this stuff for this long :)

Well I think I'll go do a couple of productive emails and get some reading done for lessons before the little kid's mom comes home. Oh, and I'm not calling him "the little kid" because of anything negative, I just highly doubt his mom would want me blogging in detail about him. She's a bit on the paranoid side.
