Almost done!

So, my to do list time is coming to an end for this week, FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seriously, couldn't come soon enough! I'm ready to lose it at everything right now, but first recital is in a little over 2 hours, then second is 3 hours after that, and by 9:00 tonight I'll be done, officially, with this week's big events! I can't wait!

I just finished playing piano for a friend's Country Club Christmas Party, for 3 1/2 hours straight! I did not know this was possible, playing for 3 1/2 hours straight. Strangely enough, the only part of my body that's tired from it is my backside, from sitting on a non-padded bench for that long.

*Note to self, always throw folding padded bench in trunk before performing from now on. :)*

I made $100 bucks though, so I won't complain. Now I just have to get through tonight without screaming at the sound of "Jingle Bells", which got played at least 6 times. I basically just kept cycling through the same 40 minutes worth of 11 Christmas songs. Kind of boring, but I haven't been that well rehearsed since highschool. Performing has never been my thing, so once recitals were over for me, I've only accompanied worship teams and kids choir, never performed solo, so this was a bit of mental work for me, but I made it!

Anyways, off to cuddle on the couch with Adam for at least 30 minutes, or until I feel the need to get ready to leave. :)
