A positive!!!!!
It's been a whole month of negatives, at least so far this month.
A Quick run-down-
Feb 1- Car breaks down
Feb 2- Adam stays home sick as a dog with no car and miserable
Feb 3- We find out it will cost $2500 to fix said broken car
Feb 4- Adam gets hurt at work. When you get a phone call from your husband telling you to bring him his crutches at work, it's never a good thing
Feb 5- Adam home hurt, me trying to do MOPS on no sleep and no prep and teach 14 lessons
Feb 6- Find out we're denied by the bank for the loan to fix the car
Feb 7- Adam still hurting, nothing seems to help
Feb 8- Go back to Urgent Care for more x-rays, still can't figure out why the pain is getting worse instead of better.
Feb 9- Go to regular Dr, who says it's something more serious, go back to the specialist Adam saw last year when he tore ligaments, probably going to be out 2-3 weeks.
Feb 10 (TODAY) Saw specialist, said to get off crutches and into Rocker Boot, and now for the first time in a week I can finally have my husband back!
When Adam's hurt on crutches he's pretty much unable to handle anything. He's really good on the crutches, and will go anywhere with me, but when I'm holding all his stuff, and every door and doing all the driving (I'll still be doing that, but I can deal) and not getting to hold his hand, it's just not fun at all. I'm a clingy wife, I'll admit it, I like date nights, and holding hands in the car, and the movie theater, and while getting coffee. A perfect date involves a cup of Starbucks in one hand, and his hand in my other.
I came home and literally stood in the kitchen holding his hand fixing coffee with him in the boot with a giant smile.
I'm pathetic, I know
