Stupid people

So, the phone rings at 4:30 am. Not my phone, or our land line, but my husband's cell phone. Just to make this more annoying, his ringer is the AC/DC song, "Back in Black". So, at 4:36 this morning I get woken up by that ringing on high. Normally, I would panic wanting to know who was dying, cause why else call someone that early? But, this is why I was simply ticked off.....

First off.....I HATE that ringer, it drives me insane, but it's his phone.

Secondly.....It was 4 freakin 36 in the morning! So, I think my annoyance at this was justified.

Thirdly.....It wasn't even someone important, it was one of my husband's co-workers, who by reputation only, I completely can not stand and don't trust worth anything. The guy is all talk and attitude and is always telling my husband all this stuff that never comes true, or never happened in the first place. Desperately seeking attention type people bother me, cause they make me wonder what's wrong with them that people don't pay attention to them naturally.

Fourthly.....(I don't think that's really a word) The guy didn't answer when my husband tried to call him back to find out what was wrong. My husband tried to answer, but by the time he got hold of the phone in his mostly still asleep state of mind, it had stopped ringing.

Fifthly.....(definitely not a real word!) 10 minutes later, the guy starts texting my husband wanting to know what he was doing up so early and what was so important that it couldn't wait until a decent hour.

Turns out, the guy's out on disability for an elective surgery (which he had two weeks ago) and was high on his pain killers.

Yeah, someone's got problems.

What a strange guy. I would have been ticked off as well. I've heard of drunk dialing (which I've never done) but high on painkillers dialing that's a new one.
