Updates, since I haven't really written anything original in two weeks!

Well, since it's been awhile, I've probably got a ton to write, but I honestly can't think of anything interesting. I mostly haven't written because I've been too busy, but it hasn't really been with anything too interesting.

Let's see, last blog of note was October 17th, since then I've shot a wedding, outside, in NY in the freezing cold. I've run two weeks of Youth Group, one youth event, prepped for the next MOPS meeting, spent 3 hours on the phone with DISH tech support, waited for one Road Runner Tech and two Dish Network Techs, spent $600 in car repairs between our two cars and taught about 75 piano lessons! I'd show you wedding pictures, but they're all on my husband's computer and I'm not in the mood to scrub in to touch it. :) He's a bit picky about his computer, food within 10 feet is a major no-no, and fingerprints, even on the keys make him go into an anal-retentive hissy fit. He's not that bad, I just make fun of his panicking about a computer. And, the rest of that stuff is really not that interesting.

Right now I'm spending my "morning off" working on church paperwork and MOPPETS Childcare worker reminders from home since it's wet snowing out. I'm sitting here in my sweats and my third cup of coffee with Christmas music playing to drown out the leaf blowers attempting to clean up the wet snow/slush covered leaves all over our complex.

If it's going to snow, it needs to snow, not rain/snow/slush everywhere. Snow is pretty even if it is cold, and it's Christmassy, which might convince me to go use my Hallmark coupons on wrapping paper and wrap the presents sitting in my closet. I'm more than half way done. I have my sister and her boyfriend/fiance/whatever done, and my husband and parents half way done and I'm finished with my grandparents.

I haven't started on my in-laws yet, but since they're kind of ticking me off right now and my brother-in-law isn't speaking to us, I'm having a hard time being in a giving mood with them. They might just all get gift cards bought the day before this year. Though since we'll be in Texas with my family for Christmas this year I guess I'll have to buy them a few days earlier. :) That's one of the things they're mad about. We're spending our 4th holiday in our entire 4 1/2 year relationship with my family instead of them. They think I'm being too controlling and need to remember it's Adam's holiday too and his family is important to him. Like mine's not? Plus, it was his idea because it's his longest time off work all year and he wants to roadtrip to Texas. Of course he can't tell them that, he just told them it's been a long time since I've seen my parents so we're going there. Which makes it my fault, again, which means my in-laws think I'm controlling him and taking him away and making him chose me over them, again. Oh wait, he already did that, he left home and married me. Grrr......

Okay, vent over!

Sorry, had to get that out, and since none of you know my in-laws, and they don't know that I even ahve a blog I can get away with that here.

Anyways, back to cleaning and Christmas shopping and maybe even some wrapping today. The Christmas music is cheering me up, and I'm going to go get some more stuff accomplished before teaching this afternoon.

well no WONDER you haven't had time for meaningful blogging. i sometimes think i should step it up and be like those crazy people who blog like 3.8 times a day about every.single.thing that happens... but then i get freaked out that people will EXPECT that! AHHH!

as far as the whole in-laws thing goes, that's really annoying. i have my own share of in-law trouble, but not because i'm married (cuz i'm obviously not!) but because my brothers are married

anyways, i'm really looking forward to seeing the wedding photos :) you'll have to bribe him to let you in somehow, or just hand them over so you can share!

Hey!!
By the way, Josh is going to be gone for 6 weeks total. 4 away 2 home then 2 away again. He comes home on Friday night and leaves Sunday. This is the first week :-) AHH!

So know what you are going through with the in-law situation. My inlaws aren't fond of me either because I don't encourage my husband to lie, cheat, and such. We don't see them much if at all. They never call unless they have a problem to pour on their son. So yup, I know. we're together now almost 6 years and it was never bad until August 14, 2005. The day we got married :-) It is frustrating and I wish I could vent on my blog, but I can't. Just know that I feel your pain :-) Good luck!

Oh ya, P.S. The way I do the holidays with the family is every other. Christmas Eve is always with my parents, and Christmas Day is with his. Thanksgiving is every other and THANK GOD it is at my parents this year! No drunken disorderly's!!
