3 degrees and the rest of my Christmas post two weeks late

So yeah, it's 3 out, the wind is negative 10, which means it feel like negative 4 out, NOT FUN!!!!

Tomorrow's supposed to be colder, if that's possible.

Needless to say, I don't like the cold.

Anyways................
Christmas Trip!!!

Christmas was awesome, my parents spoiled us like crazy, but that's what happens when you don't see each other other than 6 days in 2 1/2 years.

I was going to take pictures of everything, but I'm so far behind I still haven't dumped anything from the trip to take new pictures now, so web images will have to do.

My mom went to town redoing my kitchen for me. She works at SurLaTable, like Williams Sonoma but fancier. :) And, here's what I got........................

New Dishes

and
All in the pretty blue thoughYeah, I got spoiled...........................

Plus clothes, and movies, and a manicure and pedicure (my first ever!), and three dinners out and all Adam's stuff! We got spoiled, major!

In other news, my sister got re-engaged while we were there. For those that don't know, my sister and her fiance have been together almost as long as Adam and I have been together. They were engaged last summer but then called the wedding off and went back to dating only when his med school stress got in the way of their wedding planning. Well, he re-proposed on Christmas Night and they booked their wedding two days later for April 18th in Houston. So, after driving down for two weeks, we're flying back for a week in April. Adam's shooting the wedding (!!!!), I'm the "Matron" of Honor (it sounds so old!) and playing piano for the special music and the recessional and teaching his sister the processional. I'm coordinating the bridesmaids up here too, which is "fun". More on her wedding planning later though, cause I need to go clean before lessons. Maybe back later though, we'll see. :) Cleaning is boring and it's freezing out, so I'm in no hurry to leave my sweats and computer.
