Weekend recap

I'm getting really bad at this, blogging once a week is not enough for my sanity! I need to get more on here, more often so I stop exploding!

Anyways, this week was only semi insane,

Sunday, ran Family Production Service at church. As soon as I remember to jump the pictures from Adam's computer to mine, I'll show you those. I was wearing Ant Antenna, so that should be interesting.

Monday, taught my usual lessons.

Tuesday, taught my usual lessons again. Then after work we went to Red Robin with my in-laws to take advantage of both Adam and his dad's FREE birthday burgers! I love their deal, no matter how many calories and whatever, they do make some of the best burgers ever, and getting any kind you want, FREE on your birthday is a pretty good deal to me. If you sign up on their website to be part of the Birthday club they email you a certificate for a free burger any time one week on either side of your birthday, so you get a two week window, instead of having to go on your actual birthday and show id to get it. I also discovered Coldstone Creamery has the same deal! Both let you sign up anyone you want under one email address, they're awesome! Then my inlaws came over to work off our dinner playing Wii, which was better than I thought. They were both really appreciative after, even if they let their son (Adam's 8 year old brother) be a rude disrespectful brat to me the whole night. Oh well, you pick your battles, my kid will never, ever speak to adults the way they let him talk to me.

Wednesday, only taught 2 lessons due to our mini blizzard. By mini I mean we only got 11 inches, but we got all 11 inches in about 5-6 hours, so that's some pretty quick snow! The nice thing about only teaching two lessons, is I got home in time to take my time on a good dinner. I made my favorite meal from this week by far, don't know about Adam's but it was definitely mine.
Stir Fry, with Cinnamon Sugar Rolls, LOVE IT! It's so easy too, which makes things really nice on nights I'm teaching until 8:00 and still want to make it.

Thursday was the bad day. I was at Browncroft to set up for MOPS at 7:20, and didn't get home from my last lessons until 7:50. Yes, the day from hell, we'll leave it at that.

Friday was a blast! My friend Laurie and her kids came over to check out the Wii and we had so much fun! Her kids are 3 and 5, and they just go so into it!

Hannah's Victory Dance, whether for 1 pin or 7, she'd hop up and down cheering hte number of "points" and waving "dolly" in the air, so cute!
Joseph very intenting watching his mommy bowl to learn how to beat her. He bowled 100, not bad for a 5 year old!

Friday was also exciting because my coat shipped! Not like I'll be able to wear it until May without freezing in NY, but I can be excited anyways.

Adam came home from work sick yesterday, so we've just been being lazy so far this weekend. I'm hoping to run to the mall this afternoon, but we'll see. Basically everyone is having winter clearance sales right now, so how can I not at least look? Oh, and if you're ever looking for deals, go HERE, it's my shopping heaven!

Off to make myself look as cute as you can in the winter in NY and try to drag my husband to the mall with me. Have a great weekend everyone!
