Missing in Action

Again, for another week! I had so many good blogs planned last week, but they just never happened. So, now they all seem pointless and a waste and irrelevant, so now I have to come up with something else to say.

Anyways, to summarize the last week, here goes...................

Sunday-
Was on worship team
Ran Youth Group (Sort of, long story which would involve venting)

Monday-
Adam was off for Martin Luther King Jr Day, I was not, thankfully I had a few cancellations due to kids being off school and condensed my normal 9 hour teaching day into 4 hours.

Tuesday-
Adam's Birthday.
He took off work because sharing your Birthday with Obama's inauguration was depressing enough without being forced to watch 5 hours of the ceremonies with the students, who probably either slept or wrestled through the whole thing.
I got off a little early (6:15) cooked a couple of amazing filet mignon's, which I forgot to take pictures of, and his favorite smashed potatoes, and made him this..........
for dessert. :) I love making homemade Ice Cream Cakes, they're a million times cheaper than a Carvel Cake, and you can use any combination of Ice Cream Flavors! So Easy too!!!

Wednesday-
My girlfriend Bethany came over, so I got a morning off, just not alone to get anything done, but it was fun.
I taught lessons all afternoon and Adam met with our Senior Pastor for coffee and seriously, I think things at church, and in the way of Adam's ordination and further education are about to get so much better! Another post coming on that.

Thursday-
My long day!!!!
Taught lessons from 12-6 solid, no longer than a 15 minute break between houses.
Met Adam for 10 minutes to buy one of these.......................
Oh my goodness, amazing fun!
Ran Family Production Service Practice with the kids at church. Again, another post (with pictures!) for that too.

Friday-
Taught 3 lessons instead of my normal 1 (last week of any lessons on Fridays!)
Met up with my "little girl" I used to babysit for..................(pic from her May 2008 Senior Prom)Here........................
for "lunch" (It was the weekend!)
Came home, hung out with Adam all night playing Wii! (SO MUCH FUN!!!!!)

Saturday-
Helped with Family Production Service Dress Rehearsal
Hung out around the house with Adam all day rearranging the living room and cleaning to make more room for playing Wii. :)
Then, after dinner, we took a spontaneous trip to all our local Circuit City's to see what they had in liquidation sales (it's a waste, the good stuff is gone at 20% off) and stopped here..................
For a White Mocha :)

Yeah, so my week was pretty full. Hopefully this week I can keep up a little better!
