So, as promised, here are the rules...........
Date Night Giveaway.............
Leave me a comment with your favorite $20 or less Date Night Place that's open nationwide. It doesn't have to be a restaurant, it can be something that costs under $20 for you to do together, or a snack-y type place, or activity or whatever. If your absolute favorite place is something local to you, you can tell me about it, but also include your favorite chain place please. My husband and I are starting a new schedule, every week "date" times. We can't afford to go out somewhere every week, so every other week will be a going out date, and every other week will be a staying in date, but we're looking for new ideas. So, in order to enter, you have to leave me an idea.
An idea gets you 1 entry.
Becoming a follower gets you 1 more entry
Posting about my giveaway on your blog gets you 1 more entry.
You have to tell me if you become a follower or post though, cause lately I haven't had as much reading time as I'd like and don't want to have to worry about missing something.
Oh, and the prize....................
A $20 gift card to one of our favorite date places that's in your area. When you win I'll notify you and get your address and then google to make sure you have my choice in your area. I'll start with our absolute favorite $20 or under date place, and work my way down the list til I find something near you. If I can't find one on our Top 5 list, I'll buy you a gift card to your favorite place.
The whole idea is for couples to try new inexpensive date ideas, my husband and me included.
I'll close the post for entries on Thursday May 14th and draw a name out of a hat (or probably rather a large mixing bowl) on Friday the 15th. The winner will be announced sometime that weekend, whenever I get time to post. :)
Happy Idea Sharing!
***EDIT- Anonymous Comments can not be entered without a name or email attached!! How am I supposed to know who you are?

Hey girl what a great idea!
So we have a couple that we like so here we go....
1) we go for a walk on the trail at least once a week when I get home from work if Kyle is off, we enjoy each others company and just chat, it is my fav de-stresser now, then we head over to quiznos and pick up Sammies ($2/ea).
2)We love playing minature golf the games are about $7/person and we have a blast, take pics, and we always make a bet of something the winner gets!
3)My favorite resturant is olive garden and we both get salad and a bacardi& coke it's just abou$20
4)we go to Don Pablo's/Chevys and then walk the mall(1 mile loop) and window shop and work off our meal... we always order chips/queso and an enchilada less then $20
I am posting about this now and I'm a follower

Bowling is pretty cheap, but fun :)
ANd this one I absolutely LOVE: http://www.thegalleyrestaurant.com/
The Galley is VERY romantic...its right out on the water in Spencerport...I LOVED being there...you can even do lunch on the weekend as a date night :)
Also, do you have board games and stuff? Clue and Scene It games are the BEST for dates :)
Hope this gives you some good idea :)
OH!!! During the year...MCC has a student run restaurant in the main building...AMAZING food and REALLY inexpensive...
Leaf and Bean is really nice for cafe styled lunches as well...
It ALL depends on what kind of a date you ar looking for...a weekend lunch, or a week/weekend dinner...etc :)
My husband and I just discovered that Logan's Roadhouse has a special that runs from Monday night to Wednesday night. The special is two entrees, with two sides each and of course their wonderful rolls for $13.00. For us it can't get any better than that.
I am also a follower!!!
What a great idea! We go on one date night a month where we go out to eat. Usually expensive but we save for it. During the week our date nights vary. This week we went to Marble Slab got some ice cream and sat on a bench in Downtown and talked and watched people. My favorite though snuggling up on the couch with movie marathon night and nothing but junk food. Ice cream, pizza, and chocolate. We turn out all the lights and light candles. We also turn our phones on silent.
