Menu Monday and some very muddled musings!

So, my menu is a bit of an unhealthy mess this week. I've got three recitals to pull off, so there will be alot of cleaning out the freezer and leftovers and frozen foods, sorry, not my usual self during recital week.

Monday-
London Broil in the Crockpot, Smashed Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli

Tuesday-
BBQ Beef Sandwiches and French Fries
(recital night)

Wednesday-
Chicken Parm

Thursday-
Sweet and Sour Chicken and Stir Fried Veggies over Rice

Friday-
French Bread Pizzas
(recital night)

Saturday-
Subs
(recital morning)

Sunday-
Who knows!

And, random thoughts-

  • Does anyone else's husband have an interest in blogging? Mine decided to make his own last night and as much as I complain when he doesn't support me in stuff, or doesn't try to be involved, this weirded me out a bit. I know he reads my blog on occasion, but that's never stopped me from writing freely because it's not like we have secrets. He's not always happy with what I share with the blog world, but he deals cause he knows I need to vent and express myself. I'm not worried about him reading, I'm worried about anyone he ends up having follow him on here reading this. Is this normal, or am I over analyzing and being paranoid for no reason?
  • This move is really starting to freak me out! We have so much CRAP in this place!
  • How are we supposed to live with my parents in peace without them ever seeing out ugly immature sides? We both have them about different things. We still fight about some of the same stuff we fought about when we were dating, will this make them dislike my marriage?
  • I'm totally doing this move on faith. When I'm scared about a decision, I don't have enough peace to truly listen to God, so instead, my usual prayer is "show me something totally terrifying and hideous about this decision so I'll know it's wrong" and every time I've prayed that, some really obvious reason to move jumps in my face. So, moving it is!
Here's to my crazy week! Hope yours is a little smoother than mine!

My daughter and her husband lived with us for a year while building a house. It worked out alright. I tried to give them lots of privacy. You'll be okay w/ your parents. Hey, if you never have a disagreement then I say your marriage is very boring. I have been married 40 yrs. Now, I know I could have never lived in the house w/ my MIL. yours sounds alot like mine was. I get a kick reading your blog. It reminds me of myself many yrs. ago.

Hi! I really like your blog, and I wanted to tell you that living with parents is a big move! I should know, my hubby, three kids and I moved into one bedroom in my parents house six months ago! :) Tight fit, but they had the garage rebuilt into a lovely two bed-room outfit and such.

We haven't killed eachother yet, so this is good. You do see more of your parents than you'd ever think! But, it'll work... :)
