I'm still waiting on a real day off, not really seeing any coming soon. The past week and a half or so I've basically been working 9-10 hour days. Yesterday was only 8, it felt so good! Especially since when I got home, my show was about to come on!
Seriously, this made up for almost an entire week or stress! Oh how I love Thursday nights!!I haven't gone running more than 4 or 5 times all month. Of course really I never stop running since I have so much going on, so it's not like I'm gaining wait, I'm just not jump starting my metabolism, which gives me extra energy, but since I'm also not eating alot of junk food, it's not like my metabolism can't keep up, I'm just tired alot of the time and living on coffee. So, I guess the running is crucial, cause living on coffee isn't the best for me cause I easily get addicted. I used to be a 2 pot a day person. And by pot I mean the 12 cup kind. I don't need to go there again!
I'm in full baking mode. This weekend is Banana Bread, Cut-out Cookies, and Fried Cakes. My mom finally sent me her 40 year old recipe for Fried Cakes, that's this weekend's project! I can't wait! I love getting up and going to the market on Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee in hand and picking up fresh produce and Fried Cakes, but since this Saturday morning I have a kids music rehearsal at church at 9:00am, I think Fried Cakes at home in the afternoon will be my next best bet. Can't wait!
Youth Group kicks off in just over a week, so I'm starting to get in deep with that. Alot of things are changing in our general structure of youth ministry at our church. Changes I'm not in agreement with. For now, since we're basically it for running Sunday nights, we're still getting to do things our way, but if the pressure keeps building, we may have to back down. Not a fan of that, but we weren't planning on working this entire school year this year anyways.
Fantasy Hockey kicks off Sunday with the draft. Oh goodie, play with the boys to not get ignored by one particular boy for 6 months. I honestly don't mind it, it's just that he can't just play, he has to watch every game, research every play online, get way too involved for me. I'm working on it.
Well off to go clean my kitchen, since I never got around to that after kids music practice last night and then Grey's, so need to do that, run to the store, meet the husband for lunch, meet a girlfriend for the last full pedicure of the season, pick up the husband, teach 2 lessons and shoot senior portraits. Busy day!
