Reunion recap

So, this weekend went pretty well! Relatively uneventful actually! My mother-in-law was wrapped up in all the family that she only sees once a year, so she hardly even spoke to me, so that was easy. My father-in-law made his share of slightly off color, could easily be taken as rude or mean comments, but seriously, I'm beyond caring with him anymore. The game to play at reunion is "Rook" it's an older trump card game that became popular with the family back when all card playing was considered immoral, because it doesn't use normal cards. You need partners and my husband and I creamed my father in law and his partner all weekend. I get pretty competitive when it comes to playing things with him. One stupid move and he mocks me for hours, so I play well against him, one, to avoid the mocking, two, to show him I'm not as stupid as he thinks.

So, overall, it wasn't bad! Thanks for the prayers everyone!

Slept in a tent, showered 3 times a day to feel clean, lived on the jetski, played paintball with my little brother-in-law and the husband, starved cause the food seriously stunk, froze in the tent, but now I'm home, clean, online and trying to finish my first quarter MOPPETS curriculum and stock up on piano books.

Oh boy, Wednesday starts the crazy schedule, here we go!

Menu Monday coming after the husband gets home with the car and I can go to the grocery store. :)
