Menu Monday

So, I think my summer menus are just going to be short basic and boring on a regular basis, cause seriously, this week's no more interesting than last.

I love summer food, the grilling, the fresh fruit, the frozen desserts and the cool drinks, but for the most part, these foods are all ridiculously simple to make.

Anyways, here goes-

Monday-
Burgers on the grill, Macaroni salad and Jello Salad

Tuesday-
Honey Dijon Marinated Chicken Breast Sandwiches (on the leftover hamburger rolls), Home Fries and Fruit Salad

Wednesday-

Philly Cheesesteaks, (also on leftover rolls, toasted with butter) Leftover Macaroni Salad, More Fresh Fruit

Thursday-
Takeout on the way to see
TIM MCGRAW in concert at CMAC, for FREE courtesy of me winning tickets on the radio! Yay!!!!!

Friday through Sunday-
Cottage, so who knows

So, that's my week's plan, should be pretty simple and I don't know that any of it really requires a recipe, unless my version of any of the salads are desired, but I'm not bothering to post them now because mine are pretty basic and boring compared to most.

I decided that this week when Adam was raving about my cooking, that in all reality, by most people's standards, I'm not really that good of a cook. I make things that taste delicious, with very inexpensive basic ingredients, but they don't usually look very fancy. I rarely follow a recipe, instead I just wing it and it works for me. Most people probably don't really consider that being a good cook, but my husband likes it, so that's what's important.
