Yay for sick days!

So, the husband's been sick since Friday night. Stupid summer cold that won't go away. By Monday I was starting with it, and I don't get sick days, and we only have one car, so I have to get up at 6:30 and take him to work every day. I'd been dying with this stupid sinus pressure junk dripping down my throat mess for two days on basically no sleep because I was coming off the cottage (which means no sleep) and the beginning of the work week with him still being sick and keeping me up most the night.

So, Tuesday night, because I was completely miserable, my husband took a sick day so I wouldn't have to get up and take him to work early and we could both get a little extra sleep!!! Yay! He was almost better, but he still used a sick day for me! And, while I was working, he loaded, ran and emptied the dishwasher and put away all the dishes in the drying rack for me! That never happens! He rinses, and sometimes empties the dishwasher, but seriously, that's as far as it goes in the kitchen for him. I was so impressed!

Yay for thoughtful husbands who feel bad for getting you sick!
