Show Us Your Life: Wedding Dress

So I've been a lurker on Kelly's Korner for quite some time now, but I've never participated in her weekly "Show Us Your Life" series. Mainly, because my house never seems to be even close to clean at the end of the week when you're supposed to put up your pictures and I never seem to remember to take pictures earlier in the week :).

But for this one I can do it and I'm so excited!!!

I loved my dress, fell in love at first sight and knew it was the one the second it touched my body.
I had stopped into David's (I know I know, enter horror stories, but I didn't have any problems) to price things 2 days after getting engaged. I had just gotten my ring sized the day before and the then fiance had taken me to buy a planner for the wedding arrangements so I was driving by on my way home and figured what the heck, may as well know how much money I have to save.

Well, I happened in on "sample sale" clearance weekend. Yeah, so I got an amazing deal on top of it! I found the dress, only one left, my size and called my mom begging for her to get down there with a credit card. They don't hold the sample sale dresses, and even though it wasn't at all crowded I just hung on to it for an hour until she could get there. She made me try on 5 more, but we left with the first one I found. :)

But I think the back was my favorite thing
My husband loves my back and shoulders, they're his favorites of all my body parts, and this dress definitely showcased that for him. He was thrilled!

Watching me come down the aisle
