It's your lucky day, even if t isn't mine :)

So, you have one more day to enter for my giveaway, mainly because I'm still at the cottage and left my list of entries at home and don't feel like going through all my comments to find them all since they were left on a couple of posts. So, come on and enter!! Drawing will be tomorrow night after I get home and get the car unloaded, so make sure to check Monday to morning to see if you need to email your mailing address. :)

So, on to my not so lucky day.

First off, let's be blunt. I went to get ready for bed last night and realized I forgot something kind of essential and non-replaceable, at least not replaceable at the little country store up the road. That little pack of pills that's been keeping us baby free for the last 3 plus years was sitting on my dresser back in Rochester. A good 1:10 away. Yeah, that's fun to realize at 1:00am. So, this morning I got up early and trekked back home, by myself, through weekend construction to get one little pack of pills. Seriously, of all the things to forget!!! One day I wouldn't have worried, but we're up here until Sunday night, and it's probably not a good idea to skip two days.

So anyways, while I was gone, people got up, and by the time I was 15 minutes away my husband was calling to see where I was, I told him, and 12 minutes later he called again to say he was leaving with his dad to get gas in the jetski and they'd be in the water by the time I got back. I attempted to tell him I was only 3 minutes away and I'd go with them when I got back, but I was cutting out on the back farm road and he didn't hear me.

A little extra back story from yesterday-
Part of the reason they kept pulling Six Flags the other day was because my in-laws wanted them to have "good brother bonding time" my mother-in-law even went so far as to ask if I had something to do for the whole day cause she was afraid I'd get bored just waiting around for them to get back from their 'special brother bonding time'. What brother bonding time was he getting with my brother-in-law's girlfriend with them? And, why couldn't he have gotten it with his sister-in-law with him?

Anyways, so when I got back I went down to where we tie up the jetski and my mother-in-law's response to me asking where everyone was, was.....
"Well they went to get gas and it's a good thing you weren't here because after Adam missed his essential brother bonding time yesterday, he really really needed his father bonding time today."

I had to turn around and leave because the swear words in my head were just too bad to hold in.

I called my mom, warned her she wouldn't like what I had to say, informed her she could slap me next time she saw me, and went off. Seriously, that's just total bull. I wanted to call her all the names my father-in-law calls me, none of which are blog appropriate.

It makes me so mad that they've turned me into this fowl minded mean spirited angry person.

Only 24 hours to go, then we're done for the summer. Until reunion on Labor Day weekend.

On a plus, I got a good tan today, so that makes up for a little bit, not all of it, but it helps.

If you think of it, pray I can keep my mouth shut the rest of the weekend, duct tape might become necessary. :)
