Show Us Your Life: Wedding Showers

The only shower I can find any (digital at least) pictures of, is my sister's shower that I headed up in March. I say headed up, because her entire bridal party (of of 7!) and both moms, chipped in food, decoration, and money wise, but I organized it all and made sure everything would be taken care of.

4 Egg and Cheese Quiches fill with various combinations of veggies, including- broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms, red onion, tomatoes, also ham or bacon in some.
French Toast Casserole
Strawberry Scones with Homemade Strawberry Jam and Fresh Whipped Cream
Deviled Eggs and Fresh Fruit

Also a full coffee and tea bar and grape cocktail punch.

Her now mother in law made the cakes. She bought a kit and an instructional book and decided she wanted to learn for her shower. Of course I'm sure she'll get to use her new skills many more times. My sister married into a family of 11 kids, married the second oldest, first one to get married. Yeah, there are lots more showers in her future!
