Accomplishments

So, this week has been a bit crazy and I've mostly been feeling like I'm ridiculously behind on life, or that I don't really have one. I've been resenting the fact that my husband has time to enjoy his hobbies when I honestly don't even think I have any anymore because I haven't had time to do whatever I want in so long.

Then I realized that I really don't like having free time all that much. I get bored very easily. I used to be able to sit in front of old movies and draw, or write and make lists, or clean or work out, just to have something to do. I used to work out out of boredom, can you imagine that? Now I'm rushing trying to find time to run even one mile due to time constraints!

Instead, relaxing is boring. I'm much happier when I feel like I've accomplished something, rather than enjoyed something.

So, tonight, I'm happy!

Because today I....

...filled my gas tank
...went to BJ's stocked up on canned/frozen foods and paper products enough to last til the end of the year and saved over $48 in coupons to take a $130 bill to $82 and change!
...showered
...set up backdrops and lighting for the MOPS Fall Photography Fundraiser
...met the husband for lunch
...went to the bank
...bought baby shower gifts for cousins
...picked up the husband
...ran the photoshoots
...cooked dinner
...did 3 loads of laundry
...baked cookies
...did the dishes

And now, I can enjoy my evening!
