I love this time of year!

So, one of these days I'll post something that's not Christmas related, I promise! But, for tonight, I'm on my Christmas kick, because my sister and her husband are actually coming at Christmas time!

They're in town the 20th-25th (leaving mid afternoon Christmas Day) and then flying down to Texas to surprise my parents Christmas night and then leaving there on New Years Eve Day, which also happens to be my dad's 60th birthday which I'll be missing.

The part I'm most excited about is Christmas Eve though, because they're actually spending at least part of it with us!

Her husband's one of 11 children, who will all be home for Christmas, so they feel the need to be there most the time for his parents and younger siblings, but I've actually convinced them that after Christmas Eve dinner at his parents, they should come here.

Christmas movies and cookies at my house! You have no idea how excited I am to host something Christmas related finally! The husband's parents always insist on Christmas there cause they get a bigger tree and have a fireplace and it's just more homey to them (I know, this is a huge dig at our home, but I've learned to not care) so I've never really gotten to host anything at Christmas. We do Christmas Eve alone usually because I draw the line at going to my father-in-law's rude part of the family on Christmas Eve if I have to spend Christmas Day with him(the rudeness runs in his side of the family). But, this year, I get it! Decorating begins tomorrow! I pulled out all my bins this weekend, but didn't get anything up yet, so tomorrow, let the decorating begin! I'm off until noon, how much do you think I can do?
