PRAISE!!!!

Okay, folks, today was a GREAT day!! I am wearing an enormous smile typing this out as we found out the results of the PET scan this afternoon from our good friend, Eric. The scan showed that there are no active cancer cells in my body- not in my lymph nodes and not in my stomach- nowhere. WOW!! God is so very good! The chemotherapy has worked and has destroyed those rotten cells- hallelujah!! This does not mean I am cured (although I might be...) and I will continue on with three more rounds of chemo as recommended by my oncologist as a precaution against dormant cells. I meet with a GI doctor on December 10 to discuss a repeat endoscopy (probably in January) so they can compare the pictures from July.

Oh, how thankful I am to my God for bringing me to this place. Today is a day filled with joy and thanksgiving. Thanks for celebrating with me :)
