I love getting in the spirit!

So, yesterday the last of my students picked their Christmas recital songs. One little girl was so cute, she wanted to learn every one in the book just for fun, but I made her pick her two to make perfect first. She said she'd get them perfect in one week so she could start learning others just for fun cause she can't wait til Christmas and playing Christmas carols will make the time go faster.

Can you tell she's a first year piano student? :)

Also, officially went Christmas shopping for the first time last night. The husband picked up some overtime and I didn't feel like sitting home alone for a couple hours, so I headed straight to the mall after my last lesson. I picked up the first of the husband's gifts! His side of the family is already pretty much done (through clearance sales, online coupon codes and such), and my sister and her husband are done, so it's just my parents and my husband I have left to shop for. But now that it's November and all the Halloween decorations are gone, I can really get into it! I love it!

And, Starbucks has their Christmas cups back! There's nothing like walking through the mall with a Peppermint White Mocha in a Christmas cup, listening to Christmas music and buying people gifts!

Yay! Thinking of all this is making my 13 hour work day go just a little quicker!
