So, we've told the in-laws the news, we've told most of the family the news, but now we need to hold out a little and not rush into telling our works and church the news until closer to when we leave. Especially my work, as I'm self employed, I don't need people running scared and finding new teachers before I'm even gone, then we wouldn't be making half as much the last couple months before the move.
Is it too nasty of me not to start telling people until after the first of the year? We're planning to move February 15th, so I'm thinking 6 weeks is plenty of time to find new teachers for most students, and those that don't find a replacement teacher will probably be from lack of trying.
Problem is, some of my student families are good friends outside of lessons. How do I tell them, but make sure they don't tell any other students?
See my dilemma?
This morning I got an email from a neighbor of a current student asking me to start her daughter. Technically I have room, but I feel like I shouldn't take anyone else on when I know I'll be moving, but I can't tell her I'll be moving, cause she'll tell the other student.
Seriously, I thought the in-laws were hard, this is worse. Or maybe it just seems worse cause it's all on me.
In other decision news, I'm going through my wardrobe this weekend and taking out anything I won't be taking with me. I think I'll copy Sarah's idea and hold a blogger sale over Thanksgiving weekend, so keep your eyes out!

six weeks is ample time to give your "notice" I think. You have to have a paycheck until then. I would only tell those that will know anyway. Six weeks is ample time to help them find a new teacher. Just don't fret. It will work out. As my mom says, when all else fails, pray about it. haha
