Question-
What do you do when someone you know, and have to talk to on a semi regular basis friend requests you on facebook, but you want to keep them out of your personal life?
There's this girl from my old church, she's a special needs girl and my sister worked in her Sunday School class. She volunteers to push strollers for the criers during MOPS for me, but seriously, she drives me nuts. I've seen the things she does on other people's facebooks. She comments on everything, but it never has to do with the actual subject, she sends a million things and throws things, and requests the same thing a dozen times for games. I don't use my facebook for entertainment beyond the amusement I occasionally get from someone's photo or status. To me, it's a communication tool, not to her. I've ignored probably close to a dozen, very spaced out requests from her over the past 6 months or so, but tonight she sent me a private message asking me to accept her.
Can I explain that my facebook is just for close friends, or will the fact that I have 200 friends (seriously, basically all were close friends at one point in life or are related to my husband or myself) make it seem like I'm lying? I do not accept friend requests from alot of people, no one has minded before, but this girl won't give up.
I don't want to hurt her, but seriously, I can not stand the daily requests. I'm ready to unfriend a few people right now who I am friends with in real life because they won't stop sending stupid game and cause and group requests.
What would you do?

I had this issue and I accepted the person but you can actually restrict certain people (whoever you want) from being able to comment and see you stuff and send you stuff. It is under profile tabs.
I go inactive for a day or two, then rejoin later. Tell her you have heard there is a virus (true) so you are thinking about shutting down your FB account. Or, just keep ignoring her request. I know. I had to let a cousin that I can not stand be my FB friend. I have her blocked so I don't have to look at her lying face every day. Sorry, but it's true.
