I'm going to try!

With everything going on right now and the massive lack of time I feel like I have for myself these days, I'm going to try. Maybe blogging will help me organize my thoughts a bit more and take less of my frustrations out on my husband. Maybe blogging will just help me be more organized in general because it will give me a daily habit beyond showering. Maybe, I'll just completely fail, but I have to try at least.

Right now my world is revolving around planning youth events, rewriting Christmas music to all levels for my students for recital, attempting to get my house in order and clean out the stuff we don't use and sell it on craigslist to make space and money, trying to get Christmas shopping done as I'm definitely more behind than I've ever been, and still trying to work and teach and take care of the daily necessities of our home and my husband.

Wow, that was all one sentence, I think I need to review how to use punctuation properly!

Anyways, on top of that, I've got a few background prayer requests, that I really wish I had in the foreground.

For those of you who keep up with these things, Laura's treatments are still going on schedule and they're seeing positive results. Not as quickly or to the extremes that they would like, but the cancerous cells and tumors are definitely shrinking, if only by single digit percentages per round of treatment. Her biggest concern right now is for her 7 year old daughter Sarah, who's currently having to live at her grandparents because she's fighting off swine flu and can not be around her mom during this. Sarah's having a hard time not having her mom around when she's sick, and this is killing Laura. She's a very hands on mom, so having her mom taking care of her daughter is close, but not enough for her and this is just a very emotional time for them. So, pray Sarah kicks it soon (it's been 4 days with no signs of improvement) and that none of the other kids start with it. They moved Sarah to her grandparents as soon as they found out she'd been exposed to it at school, but that doesn't necessarily mean much the way it seems to be going around.

Well, off to prep for youth group tonight and maybe even do some cleaning if I get time.
