Morning Musings

So I'm sitting here waiting for pictures to load on my computer. My computer is known for taking hours to do tasks that would normally only take 10 minutes on other computers, yet I refuse to give this thing up. My husband is a recent Mac convert and I despise the stupid thing, so I'm still fighting my antique beast. Someday it just won't turn on and then thank goodness for back up hard drives!

I've decided my in-laws are really just major jerks and there's nothing I can do about it. I'm done trying to win their favor, because I'm never going to get it. I'm not a kiss up by nature, 95% of the time I'm going to say or do whatever I want regardless of other people's opinions and there aren't many people who've earned enough respect from me to get me to change for them. My in-laws have definitely not earned my respect enough to get me to change things for them. I'm sorry, but even if you have an issue with me, stop bullying your own son about it.

My in-laws decided to host Thanksgiving after all, not sure I want to go now, but I guess there's no getting out of it.

My grandpa had a stint put in Friday, went back to work Monday. Seriously, the man is a stubborn ox, must be where I get it.

We have way too much JUNK in this townhouse! I need to rent a small dumpster and just start pitching! I tried to get into our crawl space last night and thought I was going to get buried alive! At least 75% of that JUNK belongs to my husband, I'm so not a keeper!

I got the husband to use some time during his precious day off yesterday to pull the back of my hair through the cap so I could do my winter low lights. Definitely pulled through alot of hair and I'm almost black now! Usually it's just streaked in, but now, the remaining auburn from fall looks like the streaks over nearly black. Might be highlighting in a little more auburn this weekend, though I kind of like the dark, it's the closest my hair has come to matching my eyebrows before.

I'm rambling because I'm waiting to get some water pressure back so I can shower. I made the mistake of starting the dishwasher and washing machine before showering, so now I'm bored and just want to be clean.

I guess I should shut up and get some cleaning done or something, but I actually feel pretty accomplished after going to Target and Wegmans before 8:00, I love these early mornings!
